Microbe&Lab is a preventative and diagnostics company that develops and commercializes innovative tests for consumer and professional use. Microbe&Lab has three business units and offers various laboratory and diagnostics services and has two dedicated business-to-consumer labels (Coronalab and Suresy) that drive our ambition to become a European leader in at home testing.
Over the last year, Microbe&Lab has grown exponentially towards a strong team of 100 professionals with complementary backgrounds. Our high-end tests are being developed, market and manufactured in laboratories throughout the Netherlands.
We are now looking or a Manager Business Development to develop the new business strategy and build a team of business, sales and marketing professionals. The Manager Business Development is responsible for growing the laboratory and services and online business. You will cooperate with different departments to share new ideas and be involved in development and launching new diagnostic concepts. You will report to the Directors of the business units and the COO.

What will you do:
Develop and implement a multichannel business strategy for the Microbe&Lab.
Develop and grow a team of business development, sales and marketing professionals.
Initiate and execute strategic deep dives to strengthen overall strategy and business direction.
Attend relevant congresses, symposia, and networking events to gain valuable insights and further develop the business.
Conduct market research into new business opportunities.
Prepare client presentations.
Support with the development and market introduction of new tests.
How will you get there?
A Bachelor or Master’s degree
> 5 years of work experience in creating and executing business development strategies, preferably in the field of diagnostics, CROs and/or the biopharmaceutical industry.
Proven track record in managing relationships with senior stakeholders/ top management both inside and outside the company.
Experience in managing a team of business professionals.
A goal & result-oriented winner mentality
Fluency in English and Dutch, both written and verbal
